Access Control System improves the security of premises by restricting WHO goes WHERE and WHEN.
Twilight Systems provide access control systems for managed access into and within buildings for authorised users. Access Control systems can be as basic as a single entrance door or a multi-site, fully networked solution controlling thousands of doors with varying staff access levels, each fully configurable by individual or by department. Access Control systems can be restricted to certain groups of users, and shift patterns can be set for departments with permission.
Twilight Systems access control products can be found in high security government buildings, leading educational facilities, multinational pharmaceutical organisations, major hospitals, well known retail chain stores, prison buildings, busy leisure facilities and private dwellings.
Stand-Alone Solutions:
A standalone solution available where all of the control electronics are in the keypad or reader. Compact systems are an easy to administer and cost-effective means of controlling access to a building.
Access is gained by using a code or PIN with a keypad, or by presenting a valid token to readers. Simple token management using our token packs makes administration straight forward.
However, as the control electronics are all housed in the reader or keypad this type of system is not recommended for exterior or high security interior doors. Also, stand alone systems are only normally suitable for small number of doors and small number of card users as the addition or deletion of cards has to be done at each reader. The alternative to this is to have a Networked system, which links all the readers to a PC Controller for easy management of the scheme.
